a home for broken masterpieces.

These are stories about sinners. They love and lie, swear like sailors and serve like saints, raise a little hell and dream about Heaven, fail miserably and live gratefully, forgive and forget, and forget to forgive. Just like you. Just like me.

And they are loved by, redeemed by, transformed by, and in love with, Jesus.

Each of them have found, lost, lived out, and shared their faith in powerful, personal, and sometimes painful ways. I tell their stories here to worship Christ, to honor their journey to the foot of his cross, and to encourage you on yours, however near or far you are.

They are all living proof of a loving God who wants to save and change your life. That process is complex and unpredictable, which is why you won’t find short, convenient narratives here.

I pray you see beauty, real and true, that points you toward the unseen perfection waiting for, and still surrounding, all of us.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
